The reopening process has come with many changes and surprises. With this missive, I want to focus on the upcoming staff changes. We must say goodbye to several employees. We will have a few new faces joining our team soon!
Our less final goodbyes include Jessalyn, Shea, Amelia, and Amanda. Each of them brought a mix of creativity, energy, efficiency, and camaraderie. We want to take this time to express our appreciation & gratitude for all they have done to help Oasis Massage grow, and to wish them the best on their future endeavors.
Jessalyn is pursuing a career in Real Estate; check out her page here. Shea has found other employment (working for someone other than her mom) and plans to attend CCCC in the fall. Amelia is upgrading her other job from part-time to a full-time position; her last day with us in August 12th. Amanda turned quarantine into an opportunity to delve into her artistic side; you will find her pieces at local Farmers' Markets and online at her Etsy shop. Check out her page here. She will gradually reduce her hours as her art business grows. (She may continue to make the occasional cameo appearance at the front desk.)
Sara has taken a temporary leave of absence. Ashley & Pallas will temporarily take on her clients until she returns. We are actively searching for another Massage Therapist to replace Amelia and to augment the team overall. These changes to our staff impact what services we are able to offer. Please check out our previous blog post for more information.
We currently have several applicants for our front desk position. Once we get through the interviews & decide which is the best fit, we will introduce our new team member. They will gradually take the reins of the front desk, including the long-planned addition of insurance billing. We look forward to getting to know them and integrating new ideas that will ultimately improve our business operations & procedures.
