The next few months are already filling up on our schedule. We encourage our massage members and local clients to book through the summer before Memorial Day, if they haven't already done so. We do keep an active waitlist if specific appointments aren't available but that's never a guarantee. Connie is going on vacation from May 1-8th. Pallas and Ashley will be running the show on their own so please bear with us as we juggle clients, cleaning, and front desk responsibilities. Shea, Pallas's oldest daughter, may make a cameo appearance to help out. Retail Revamp Instead of trying to cram a large selection of retail products into our limited space, we've decided to provide links to some of our favorite products. All items listed have met all three of the following criteria:
Expansion Commitment One of the amazing results from participating in the GROW Program is the realization that we are on track to buy a permanent location by October 2025. We can do this with our team of three. Bringing on additional employees will make it less risky but not finding the right people will not stop us from making this transition. We will have a grand opening celebration that coincides with the anniversary of 20 years in business. Specifics (like date, time and location) to be announced in early 2025. Actively Hiring! We have three potential candidates for an opening receptionist. Before we bring any new administrative employees on, we need to find the right massage therapist to join our team. The pool of candidates is small right now but the Massage Institute of Cape Cod, where Pallas went to school way back in 2005, has a small class graduating in June. Ashley has reached out to other massage schools. By nurturing a working relationship with the massage schools, we'll hopefully have less issues finding massage therapists moving forward. We appreciate you connecting with us on LinkedIn or sharing this link (employment opportunities) with your network to help us fill open positions. Does your spouse get massages somewhere other than Oasis Massage? If so, is there massage therapist happy with their work situation? Maybe they don't like the pay, wish they had benefits, miss being part of a team, or just don't want to deal with running a solo establishment. We don't want to poach anyone who is happily employed and thriving. If they aren't happy, maybe we offer something they're missing. That's a potential win-win situation. June Price Increase Our second increase this year will go into effect on June 1st. Clients have time to lock in the current rate by purchasing a 3-pack or 5-pack of massages prior to that date. Rates as of June 1st:
