Cupping Therapy

What Is It?
Cupping therapy involves the use of suction cups placed on the skin to create a vacuum effect, gently lifting the underlying tissues. This process helps improve blood flow, release fascial restrictions, and encourage lymphatic drainage, promoting overall healing and relaxation.

Benefits
Cupping is particularly effective for relieving muscle tension, reducing inflammation, and increasing mobility. Many clients report a significant reduction in pain and an improved range of motion after just one session.

What to Expect
During your session, cups are placed on the skin and used in two ways:
  • Stationary: The cups are left in one area to target deeper, localized tension.
  • Dynamic (with strokes): The cups are gently moved along the skin in a gliding motion, combining the benefits of cupping with massage-like strokes to release fascial restrictions and improve circulation.
Both techniques are tailored to your specific needs and comfort level. Depending on the method used, temporary discoloration (often called "cup marks") may appear but typically fades within a few days.

Cupping can be added to any full-body or target-area massage appointment at no additional charge.
