Support Groups & Emotional Wellness:
✔ Caregiver Support Group

  • CWC, 436b Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, USA
  • Join us for a monthly support group to share the joys and challenges of caregiving. This group is for anyone who is currently caring for a family member or friend undergoing cancer treatment. CWC Caregivers and outside caregivers are welcome.
✔ Cape Wellness Circle of Hope Breast Cancer Support Group (in-person)
  • Mar 04, 2025, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
  • CWC, 436b Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, USA
  • Join our Women’s Support Group, open to both CWC members and the public, for those currently navigating stage 0-3 breast cancer. Meetings are held at CWC Headquarters on the first and third Tuesday of each month. We’d love for you to join us!
✔ Breast Cancer Support Group & Words of Hope Initiative
  • Hosted by Cuda Breast Care Center
  • In-person support group for women with breast cancer(Free, Open to Women Diagnosed in the Past 2 Years)

✔ SHARE Cancer Support (National Resource)
  • SHARE Cancer Support offers virtual support groups for individuals affected by breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, metastatic breast cancer, and their caregivers. Their services include peer-led groups, educational webinars, and resources for clinical trials, lymphedema, fertility, legal issues, and more.

✔ Below the Belt Women’s Cancer Outreach (Local Resource)
  • A Cape-based organization supporting individuals with gynecological cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, endometrial).

✔ Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE) (National Resource)
  • The leading organization supporting families affected by hereditary cancer, including breast, ovarian, endometrial, prostate, pancreatic, melanoma, and colorectal cancers. FORCE offers guidance on genetic testing, high-risk cancer prevention, and family support.

  • Tommy’s Place – A magical retreat for children fighting cancer and their families. 
  • Community Connections Inc. – Programs for individuals with disabilities, including wellness services. 
  • Family Table Collaborative – Provides nutritious meals to those in need. 
  • Golf Fights Cancer – Funding for cancer-related programs and patient support.
  • Lotsa Helping Hands – A free online care coordination platform that helps patients, caregivers, family, and friends organize practical support during treatment and recovery. Create a private community to coordinate meals, rides to appointments, childcare, household tasks, visitor schedules, updates, and volunteer support, all in one place. Particularly helpful for oncology patients who have many people asking, "How can I help?" and need an organized way to manage assistance without repeated phone calls, texts, or emails.
