Postural Analysis
Muscle imbalances can cause postural deviations, pain, and increase the risk of injury from resulting muscle compensation patterns. By identifying these imbalances, we can create a plan that corrects issues and breaks the pain cycle from the cause, instead only addressing the symptom.
Client evaluations are comprised of a postural analysis and various orthopedic assessments, within the scope of practice for massage therapy & personal training. Specific assessments vary from client to client based on their needs, goals, and medical history. This information provides a baseline moving forward and will be used to demonstrate objective postural changes over time.

What is Postural Analysis?
Postural Analysis is a comprehensive assessment of your static and dynamic posture conducted by our personal trainer, Pallas. During the assessment, Pallas will carefully observe your posture and movement to identify any imbalances or areas of concern. This analysis goes beyond a typical massage session, allowing us to tailor our approach to address your unique needs more effectively.
Why Choose Postural Analysis?
By understanding your posture and movement patterns, we can create a personalized treatment plan that targets the root causes of any discomfort or issues you may be experiencing. Unlike a standard massage session, which provides temporary relief, our Postural Analysis service empowers you to achieve lasting results by addressing underlying imbalances.
How Does It Work?
Our Postural Analysis service is currently offered for free and lasts for 15 minutes. During the assessment, Pallas will conduct a thorough evaluation of your posture and movement. After the assessment, Pallas will discuss her findings with you verbally and send a follow-up email with a written treatment plan based on the assessment.
What to Expect:
To ensure accurate assessment of your posture and movement, we kindly ask that you wear fitted workout clothes to the appointment. This will allow Pallas to observe your joints and movement patterns accurately. You will also be asked to remove your shoes (socks or barefoot are equally ok) during the assessment. Please note that as part of the dynamic assessment, clients will be expected to perform up to 10 overhead squats to the best of their ability. It's important to mention that clients who require assistance, such as a cane or walker, are not eligible for this service.
Next Steps:
After receiving your written treatment plan, you will have the option to schedule appointments based on the recommended plan or choose to proceed as desired. Our goal is to provide you with the information and support you need to make informed decisions about your health and well-being.
We look forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals with our new Postural Analysis service! For more information on this service, check out our blogs: Discover the Benefits of Postural Analysis and The Power of Personalized Treatment Plans in Massage Therapy.
