Recommended Products & Resources

Instead of trying to cram a large selection of retail items into our limited space, we've decided to provide links to some of our favorite products. All items listed below have met all three of the following criteria:
  • It is not available from a local supplier. (If you see something we can source locally, please let us know!)
  • Someone on our team has personally purchased it and found it beneficial -OR- One of our clients has asked directly for information on the specific item or item type.
  • It directly relates to self-care, general wellness, or a healthy lifestyle.
Self-Care / Wellness
  • Cervical Traction Support
  • Self-Care Truth or Dare: Pallas recommends this for anyone who doesn't have the spoons (IYKYK) to start with self-care. Decision fatigue is real. This is a helpful tool to combat it.
  • Cobra Topical Pain Relief Roll-on: Initially recommending by a client with fibromyalgia, this is now Pallas's go-to item. She keeps some in her martial arts bag. No strong scent or stickiness, just quick relief.
  • Posture Corrector: Pallas notices that her posture is the worst when she has long drives or a hours of computer work. This is designed to help retrain the muscles and is recommended for limited durations (up to 2 hours).
  • Water Bottle: Pallas and Ashley both use this to keep themselves hydrated. The bottle has times marked on it that serve as a reminder to maintain water intake throughout the day.
  • Drip Drop Electrolyte Powder: Pallas uses these for martial arts and camping to ensure she stays well hydrated. They taste good too.
  • Lure Cups: These cups are same ones that Pallas & Ashley use in session. This 2-pack can help extend the benefits of massages and includes instructions. To learn more about how to safely use these at home, book a 30-min appointment with Ashley!
Fitness
  • At Home TRX System: Pallas recommends this but, she chose to get a solid O-ring and hook it to that instead of using the over-the-door feature. Her house has hollow-core doors and she didn't feel secure using that method.
  • Yoga Wheel Set: Pallas uses this to improve back extension and mobility in her thoracic spine, an area that she has difficulty with.
  • Yoga Straps: These make it easy to start improving flexibility. Deepens stretches for advanced athletes.
  • Exercise Bar Set: Pallas recommends this to strengthen wrist and forearms. Specifically clients that play guitar, golf, or tennis. It comes with three resistance levels so it is scalable.
  • Resistance Bands: Pallas uses these to help improve hip, core and leg strength.
  • Weighted Hula Hoop: Easy to use for core exercise, just make sure dogs and small children don't get too close while using it. Wimbley has gotten bopped in the head multiple times!
  • Dip Bar: Alaina used this to help her get ready for boot camp. Now, Pallas uses it to work on her arm and core muscles.
Books
  • Walking the Cape & Islands: This is a great resource for anyone who wants to get outdoors and see more of the Cape. The book covers whether trails are pet friendly, stroller friendly, level of cover/shade, difficulty, maps and parking. Pallas got this last year and still hasn't made it through all of these yet.
  • Traction: This book was a game changer for how our business operates and Pallas cannot say enough good things about it. Intended for business owners.
  • How to Be a Great Boss: Part of the Traction series. Intended for management level employees.
  • What the Heck is EOS? Part of the Traction series. Intended for employees.
  • Stretching Anatomy: Easy to use guide to stretching. Illustrations show what muscles get targeted by each stretch as well as how to perform it properly. Recommended stretches by common sports listed at the back.
Other / Misc.
  • To-Do List Notepads: We use these regularly to help us manage our tasks and keep us on track. Less things fall through the cracks now.
  • Door Draft Stopper: Client have asked us about this. We got this to reduce sound carryover in our treatment rooms.
  • Dyson Hot & Cold Hepa Filter Unit: Not the actual name. We have one for each of our treatment rooms. Quiet and efficient but not cheap. Requires replacement filters as needed.
