Practitioners
Immediate opening for a year-round massage therapist. Our front desk takes care of scheduling, supplies, & billing. Our compliance officer follows changes in legislature & PPE requirements. This leaves our practitioners free to do what brought them to the industry in the first place: work with clients!
Position starts at $20/hour. That's per hour worked, not per hour massage. We know this is not the industry standard for wages. Hourly wages mean fair compensation for completing busy work, attending staff meetings, performance reviews, etc. It allows us to offer benefits and provides our staff with a consistent paycheck in the Cape's seasonal economy. It also means that any promotions or discounts the business offers do not impact the employee's paycheck. Our rate of $20/hour is the equivalent of 32% commission; experienced practitioners can start higher.
All practitioners start as part-time and may increase their shifts to a weekly maximum of 40 hours. Shifts available Monday-Saturday. The schedule gets reviewed and adjusted quarterly based on practitioner productivity. Responsibilities during shifts include client intake/assessment, providing services, writing SOAP notes, sanitizing treatment room, folding laundry, and completing CEs.
Additional certifications (Ie. Hot Stones, Pregnancy, MLD, Positional Release, etc.) are a plus. Preference will be given to year-round applicants. Complementary bodyworkers also welcome to apply (reflexology, etc).
